"ET" If crews operate into Houston via the Glidden or Mykawa Subdivisions and receive or deliver their train to one of the four identified locations, they will be allowed additional miles as follows:

Casey – 22 miles, Orr – 33 miles, Tomball – 37 miles, and Dayton – 37 miles

"HO" of 25 miles for the following if you ride shove from MP 48 to MP 46 on UPRR Baytown branch to UPRR Houston sub mainline.

(all that's needed is to travel over 1.1 miles not the whole 2 miles)

Once over the H.O.S. and there is no ride at that location.

Paid Familiarization vs. Unpaid Familiarization

When you recieve paid familiarization, you are compensated at a brakeman’s trip-rate of pay for the job you worked.

If you are assigned to 777 UTU-non-paid familiarization you are compensated 130-mile basic day via special claim as follows:
1.)         using the trip ticket that will be declined

2.)       1B special claim

3.)        Other training/familiarization

4.)       Code “TE” BN Smart-TD familiarization
